I  stayed at The Fusion suites Hotel in Bangkok on my recent holiday in Thailand.
This place looked awesome from the photos!

It has a modern industrial feel with a touch old and traditional. The walls are bare concrete which give the place a cool feeling and there is wood furniture which adds some warmth and in the larger suites there is a Chesterfield lounge ( I love these old style leather lounges).
I chose the jacuzzi suite, which has a covered outdoor area with the jacuzzi and a double swing seat. It's definitely worth a look for the price.

There are meals and room service available and the menu has a range of items which sound cover quite a few tastes.

It has a good location with plenty of other restaurants nearby.

Anantara Si Khao

The view from one of the swimming pools at Anantara Si Khao resort in Trang province Thailand. Such a beautiful place! Our room had a sea view which was similar to this. Lots of things to do and a 3 restaurants to eat at. Good food and an awesome breakfast buffet!

Jomtien night markets

The night markets at Jomtien just south of Pattaya are very nice to visit. Lots of stalls selling all sorts of  food.. fish, bbq, fresh fruit and drinks. There are clothes and souvenirs and all the rest of your normal market things. There are also a few outdoor bars and restaurants,  which overlook the fairly quiet Jomtien  beach road and beach.

Anantara Vacation Club Phuket Resort

I was lucky enough to be able to stay at Anantara Vacation Club Phuket Resort for 5 days. It is on the north west of Phuket and near the beautiful Mai Khao Beach, pictured above. We hired a car so we could get around the island as this was my first time in Phuket, even though the resort had all we needed.

We stayed in a suite and it was beautiful. I will add some more photos to show you.

The bedroom

The suite had a full kitchen which we used to make some of our meals. There are also a restaurant and an outdoor pizza bar. We tried one of the pizzas and I have to tell you it was an excellent traditional style thin crust pizza of prosciutto and rocket.
The restaurant also had theme nights. On the night we arrived the theme was Barbeque...very nice!
On another night the theme was seafood buffet.

This is the living area with the kitchen at the back of the room. The living area has a 50 inch TV and a stereo and TV's in the bedrooms.

The bathroom has two sinks, one each side, a huge shower, beautiful toiletries and that huge 2 -3 person bath.
A sunset view from the balcony, looking out over Anantara.

Step inside my office.

I call this my Bangkok Corporate office, on Sukhumvit road near Asoke BTS....LOL!
I loved this image when I saw it, Bangkok is such a city of contrasts. There is old and run-down and new and shiny. There is old world and new world and everything in between. It's what makes Bangkok and Thailand such an amazing place to visit or spend a greater length of time.

The photo shows a point between old and rundown and some exciting new development taking shape.

Photos of Chiang Mai Thailand

Chiang Mai is in the north west of ThailandIt was the ancient capital of the Lanna kingdom and is quite beautiful. The old city has about 44 Wat (temples), some of them very old including the largest completely wooden temple in Thailand.

Singapore

A few photos of my recent trip there. Singapore is beautiful and clean.
It is easy to find your way around on the train /subway system (MRT), I got from Changi airport to my hotel with no trouble. One train to Tanah Merah station and then a transfer to another which got me near to my hotel.
I found the information easily on the internet, maps etc.
I stayed in Chinatown and found some nice little restaurants and bars down the road.

I bought a two day tourist MRT pass which included a water taxi ride. This took me across to the Arts Science museum and Marina Bay Center....Amazing shopping center!!
